Design Process
Our custom design process takes place on-site in our showroom. You’ll work with our in-house jewelry designer who can help you create a one-of-kind piece with an heirloom or new stone. Search our loose diamond collection by diamond shape and carat weight to find a beautiful stone for your custom piece, or bring in a photo of your dream ring or pendant to get started.
After an initial conversation to talk through your custom design and establish your goals and budget, one of our staff will create a full scale design of your custom piece. Once you approve the design, we can create a wax model for you to experience the design in 3D—the wax model is an exact replica of the finished product. With approval, your design is cast in gold or platinum, stones are set by hand, and you’ll get to see the gorgeous final product.
Allow about six to eight weeks from the time you first consult with our designer to the time the finished jewelry is placed in your hand. That timeline includes multiple consultations to arrive at the final design, creation of the final model, and time to handcraft the final piece of jewelry.
